The composite yarn from the bobbin is output from the guide roller through the guide rod and traverse guide (Fig. 1), and is wound on the bobbin through the guide hook and steel wire coil. When the spindle drives the bobbin to rotate together, the yarn drives the steel ring to rotate on the ring steel ring to twist the yarn.

The bobbin on the bobbin frame is looped on the inserting spindle in the form of lying horizontally, and the composite yarn pulls the bobbin from the side to rotate and unwind. In order to reduce the broken ends caused by the excessive tension when the single yarn is unwound, the cone-shaped bobbin is used to tightly cover the inserting spindle, and the single yarn is drawn out from the respective bobbin end axially, and the combination is realized in the feeding frame part. The combined twisting machine can save the yarn merging process and is generally only suitable for the double strand yarn with low spinning quality requirements. The guide roller is usually a pair of smooth round rollers. The lower roller is a section of 6-8 ingots, which is inlaid with the whole length. Each spindle of the upper roller is pressurized by its own weight and driven by friction of the lower roller. There is a certain threading method for the composite yarn on the roller, so that there is a long enough friction arc between the yarn and the roller to ensure that the roller delivers the yarn to the twisting area at its uniform speed. Some of them use two lower rollers or even two pairs of rollers to adapt to the high twisting tension and achieve the purpose of uniform yarn feeding. In the roller part, some twisters are provided with a self stopping device for breaking ends. Some twisters are called wet twisters, which are equipped with water tanks under the guide rods, and water is added before twisting the composite yarn. Wet twisted thread has the advantages of high strength and smooth surface, but the roller and guide frame need to be made of antirust materials.

The winding mechanism of ring spinning machine is mostly the same as that of ring spinning machine. The steel ring plate is lifted and lowered by the forming cam in a short stroke, and the position rises to a certain height after each lifting, so that the pipeline is wound into a cone-shaped cross winding package. The double side bobbin is often used in spinning thick strand or in twister. The steel ring plate can increase the density and capacity of coiling by a single slow whole process lifting. The main difference between traditional fancy twister and general twister is in the feeding part. The mechanism and movement of the feeding part are different with different kinds of fancy yarn.

Flyer twister

The main twisting machine is the spindle wing. Except for the yarn feeding part, the other mechanisms are similar to the suspension wing spinning frame, which is commonly used for jute twisting.

Double twister

With double twist spindle as the main twisting machine, each rotation can add two twists to the composite yarn. There are three types of double twist spindles: vertical type, horizontal type and inclined type, most of which are vertical type (Fig. 2). The utility model is composed of a rotary part such as a spindle bar, a spindle disc and a yarn storage disc, a stationary part such as a yarn container and a hollow spindle tube. The fixed part is sleeved on the outside of the rotating part, and is connected with the rolling bearing. The spindle disk is driven by the Dragon belt or spindle belt, which drives the storage disk to rotate together. In order to ensure that the stationary part is not affected by the rotating part, the brake device of the yarn container is generally installed. There are three braking modes: magnetic braking, gravity braking and mechanical braking. The composite yarn is led out from the yarn supply drum, penetrated from the top of the hollow spindle tube, penetrated from the side hole of the yarn storage tray, and wound to the drum through the guide hook and output roller. When the spindle or the storage tray rotates for one circle, add one twist back for each yarn in the hollow spindle tube and in the air ring between the side hole of the storage tray and the guide hook. When the direction is the same, two twists will be obtained. The spinning speed of this twister is up to 14000 rpm, and the twisting efficiency is doubled. It can be directly made into a large capacity package, and the number of yarn dropping is reduced, but the power consumption is large, and the joint operation is difficult.
